About Dead Poets Daily
No commentary, no ads, just poetry from the greats.
Dead Poets Daily brings you poetry from the public domain, weekdays at 9 a.m. (UTC). Poems typically enter the public domain about 70 years after the author’s death, hence a focus on poetry of the dead.
Published as a free public service, Dead Poets Daily is delivered ad-free, without commentary or judgment.
A note about subscriptions
Dead Poets Daily now has an optional paid subscription tier.
A paid subscription does not offer any benefits over a free subscription; it simply allows you to make a voluntary contribution to help sustain this project.
Dead Poets Daily will remain otherwise free (and ad-free) for all readers.
Substack, which hosts Dead Poets Daily, sets minimum prices for paid subscriptions. For the new paid option, I’ve chosen the minimum allowable amounts: US$5 per month or US$30 per year (equivalent to US$2.50 per month).
I like poetry but until starting this project, I hadn’t read a poem in years. If you also need more poetry in your life, I hope this service might help.
Kind regards,
Ario Smith
